HANOVER: A Celebration of Life Services for Edna Mae Anderson, 64, of Hanover, Minnesota, formerly of Trimont, will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Assembly of God Regional Worship Center in Sherburn, Minnesota with Rev. Steven Nordyke officiating.
Edna passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, February 27, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Hanover, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Edna Mae Trosin was born on May 11, 1945 to Alfred and Elaine (Eickhoff) Trosin in Chatfield, Minnesota. She attended and later was a 1963 graduate of Dover-Eyota High School. On July 17, 1965, Edna was united in marriage to Gerald (Jerry) Anderson at Eyota, Minnesota. They farmed and lived in the Trimont area until moving to the Twin Cities working on Apartments-Condos as maintenance-caretakers later retiring in 2005. Edna touched the hearts and lives of many. She will be remembered for all her many kindnesses and loving ways. Her testimony to the Lord was always uplifting to all she touched. Her children and grandchildren were the joys of her life. She accepted Jesus as her Savior in 1975. Edna enjoyed cooking, baking and playing games with her grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor and greeted you with a hug.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Gerald Anderson of Hanover; two daughters, Patti (Mike) Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri and Lori (Greg) Clarke of Hanover, Minnesota; five precious grandchildren, Paige, Lance and Anabel Johnson and Wyatt and Gracelyn Clarke; sisters, Jeanette Boyer and Kathy Schuchard both of Rochester, Minnesota; brother, Duane (Pat) Trosin of Denver, Colorado and other relatives and friends.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and other relatives.
