Visitation: Visitation: Service: Laurel Marie Musser was born March 24, 1928 to George C. and Lucinda (Sieberg) Musser in Fairmont, Minnesota. She was received into the Kingdom of God through her baptism on April 28, 1928 and reaffirmed her faith with her confirmation on April 10, 1949. Laurel attended and later was a 1946 Graduate of Sherburn-Dunnell High School. After graduation, she continued her education, majoring in Business at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. On July 18, 1948, Laurel was united in marriage to Robert Malo in Sherburn, Minnesota. After their marriage they farmed in Manyaska Township. Laurel and Robert have been coming to the valley in Arizona to spend the winter months for twenty-nine years. They enjoyed the back road of Arizona. They would take their Jeep and explore. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn where she taught Sunday School and Release Time. She greatly enjoyed spending time her husband, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In Minnesota, she had big and beautiful flower gardens, enjoyed feeding the birds on their deck and watching the wild life. She also, had a great love for Scottie dogs which she raised, and for Siamese cats. Laurel enjoyed camping, cross stitching, hiking in the mountains while wintering in Arizona, reading, especially reading about various native Americans, mowing the lawn at the farm, doing cross-word puzzles, playing cards, especially double solitaire. She was an avid collector of Charming Tale Mice. Laurel and Robert were very active in 4-H clubs. She was an adult 4-H leader for Manyaska Township and at one time served on the council of Martin County 4-H. Above all, she deeply loved and cherished her husband Robert, loved and was so proud of: her two children...all her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she made sure everyone in her life knew that she did love them deeply...and now, she is telling God all about each of them.
